Oke-Ibadan LCDA Chairman Commissions New Secretariat, Inaugurates Youths And Women For Training, Gives Account Of Stewardship | Southwest-frontier News

OKE-IBADAN LCDA CHAIRMAN COMMISSIONS NEW SECRETARIAT, INAUGURATES YOUTHS AND WOMEN FOR TRAINING, GIVES ACCOUNT OF STEWARDSHIP

In his deliberate efforts to cushion the effects of the economic quagmire on his people and to slo reduce the unemployment deficit, the Caretaker Chairman of Òkè-Badan North LCDA today commissioned the newly built and newly renovated In order to ensure proper, adequate and modern administration of the local council development authority. 
The Chairman also Inaugurated a 300 youths  and women empowerment scheme.

 The scheme which covers for the training and logistics for the 300 youths and women that were selected across all the political wards that make up the LCDA is believed to assists in youth engagement and reduce the bare faced poverty experienced by the people. 
The Caretaker Chairman of Oke-Ibadan Local Council Development Area, Alhalji Abdulganiy Abiodun Omotosho also renovated and equipped a modern vocational training centre for the people of Òkè-Badan LCDA

The LCDA Chairman while giving his remarks noted that his administration has reconstruct/renovate the Council Secretariat with offices, conference hall, VIP toilets and motorized borehole to ensure a conducive and hygiene environment for the Staffs in the council secretariat which was commissioned today.
The council boss also handed over a refurbished patrol vehicle for Eleyele divisional police command to aid the effective service delivery in the area of security of lives and properties of people in the council area. 

He mentioned that his administration has seen to the Installation of 500kva generating set at Agbede Adodo Oke Are area, as well as drilling and installation of borehole at Olopomewa and the council Secretariat. These were done alongside all other laudable developmental projects.

The council boss in his closing remark implore residents of the LCDA specifically communities that has benefited from the developmental projects to make judicious use of them and assured communities that are yet to feel his impact to exercise patience as efforts are in top gear to extend gesture of good governance and dividends of democracy to them.

The programme had in attendance caretaker committee , political leaders, management team of Oke-Ibadan LCDA and a host of others .
