The Senior Special Assistant on diaspora to Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon Bolanle Sarumi-Aliyu(BASA) has congratulated the Muslim brethren on year 2021 Eid el Kabir celebration, popularly known as Ileya.

BASA issues this statement to Southwest-frontier News, following the confirmation of Tuesday 20th July as Eid el Kabir with the announcement of Wednesday 21th July , 2021 as a public holiday.
The SSA on diaspora continued her message by saying;
"Why we are alive today is to the Glory of Allah Almighty, and the living conditions we are living in today in Oyo State is way better than the one we had in the past before Governor Seyi Makinde was sworn in.
Therefore we all as grateful souls to Allah Almighty should continue praying for the State, for the Governor, our religious leaders and for the Government. So we may continue to receive Good Governance and great welfare".

However, Hon Bolanle Sarumi-Aliyu(BASA) didn't conclude her message without giving the admonition that the people should celebrate modestly, be security and safety conscious; that we shouldn't get carried away with the euphoria of the festival.
