The federal house of Representatives have passed into law, a bill that ends the dichotomy between university degree certificate((Bsc) and HND, thereby declaring the two certificate equal in all academic and career ramification.
The bill also proposed 2 years jail term for anybody or group in any organization that places HND certificate bearer below his/counterpart that has Bsc as a result of their cert.
The bill also abolished any limitations imposed on HND holders in furtherance of their career that is not applicable to Bsc holders.

This means that HND Certificate holders can hence go for their masters without having to go for PGD.
