Chief executive officer ABNIM travels and tours and the leading aspirant at Ibadan Southwest Constituency II, for Oyo State house of Assembly Hon Abeeb Idowu Balogun has called on members and stakeholders of All Progressive Congress(APC) in Oyo State to troop out en masse on Saturday 26th February 2022 from their respective wards across the 33 Local Government Areas of the State to identify with the transparent selection of party leadership at the National level through the convention scheduled for the day.
Abeeb Idowu Balogun (AIB) in a statement made available to Southwest-frontier.com , admonished party faithful and leaders in Ibadan Southwest Local Government to continue to give maximum and undiluted support to the leadership of the party at the Local, state and National level as that's the only way APC as a party can retain power in Oyo state and federal level come 2023 general election.
AIB also called for calm and orderliness among the teeming members, supporters
and well-wishers of the Party stating emphatically that the state party chairman, Mr. Isaac Omodewu has justified the confidence reposed in him by members and leaders of the party in the state.
In his words, AIB posited that “a vast majority of party faithful are solidly behind the leadership of Mr Omodewu as the state party chairman, The love he enjoys among party members and leaders is unprecedented and unquenchable. To consolidate this, the Chairman and his lieutenants across the 33 Local Government area are doing largely what augurs well with God Almighty and the people, thus it would be extremely tough for any human to make attempts at uprooting the flower planted by God Himself. Therefore, we should not hesitate to stand firmly behind the leadership of the party at the Local, State and proposing National level. We should always remember that Mr Omodewu remains the chairman of the Party in Oyo State”, AIB said.
Hon Abeeb Idowu Balogun, a devout and dedicated party man, emphasized the importance of the National Convention stating that, it will afford members of the party opportunity to select leaders of their choice at the National level in readiness for the 2023 general elections where the shenanigans of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo state would be brought to an abrupt end.
